Bridge club De Palingbeek has been around for ten years now and has about 70 members, of which forty bridge players can be found regularly at the green tables in the premises of the Palingbeek. During the winter months, games are played on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 2 pm

During the summer months, games are only played on Wednesday afternoons, so that golfers who also play cards have the opportunity to participate in the organized golf tournaments.

Anyone who is a member of the golf club can join the bridge club. External members are also admitted under certain conditions and to a limited extent.

If there is sufficient interest (20 people) from golf club members, the bridge club board will be happy to organize a new series of lessons. This normally takes place on Thursday afternoons during the winter months (October to April on days when no golf matches are held) for the duration of two courses.

On April 25, 2023, the annual General Meeting was held. There, the outgoing members of the board – Erik Baeke and Geert Craeynest – were extensively thanked and the new board was introduced.
